Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata claims Nintendo have more work to do in order to become socially acceptable.
Speaking about the video game industry as a whole, Iwata has said;
‘When we look at how video games have been accepted in society, what we call “social acceptance of video games,” it seems the public perception towards video games has significantly improved over the past years, However, it is our belief that there are still plenty of things for us to tackle to improve the social acceptance of video games to the level of other general forms of entertainment such as TV, movie, music and sports.’
Iwata hopes to improve this through continuing software releases and the 3DS.
