The new camera add on comes courtesy of Hdrlabs.
Titled Open Camera Control Project, SLR uses will be able to control their cameras straight from the DS itself.
The company say that the idea arised from Night at the Museum 2 where they wanted a system that could shoot HDR images exceeding normal functionality.
The company wanted to do away with the less practical laptop connection and use a smaller, more practical method.
The new DS system will include timelapse photography, motion sensing and a sound trigger and will fit a variety of SLR sources.

This is definitely one to look out for, I know I certainly would use a DS over a laptop any day. Sometimes its just not practical to whip out your laptop to hook up to your camera.
