Rising Star Games has today announced that No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle is on track for retail release towards the end of April 2010.
Developed by Suda 51, the stylistic sequel sees Travis Touchdown ranked at the bottom of the United Assassins Association table at number 51. Gamers will once again take on the role of Travis as he fights his way back to the top, whilst seeking revenge for the murder of his friend. The game follows in the footsteps of the original No More Heroes as it establishes itself as a highly rated third-party Wii title and distances itself from the sea of casual party game abominations. With graphic novel style visuals that make it unique compared to the majority of games available on the market; get ready for the desperate struggle.
Legendary developer Suda 51 is naming No More Heroes 2 the game he’s always wanted to make – playing on the original’s strengths – complete with smart storyline, refined combat (utilising two beam katanas) and characters, and red blood. Lots and lots of red blood.
No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle is scheduled for release at the end of April 2010 on the Nintendo Wii.
