If you ever needed evidence that the Internet can change your life, Lauren Luke is the living proof. She has teamed up with Avanquest Software Publishing to launch a DS game called Supermodel Makeover by Lauren Luke.
For those of you who don’t know, Lauren, 28, began to upload simple make-up and beauty tips to YouTube (under the name Panacea81) over two years ago and has since become an Internet star, and has even appeared on daytime television show This Morning to share her simple advice.
Supermodel Makeover by Lauren Luke puts you in front of three judges (one of which is Lauren), and you have to win them over by dressing and styling models with various styles. Lauren guides you along the way so that you won’t go wrong with make-up from eyeliner to blusher. You are then rated on how well you apply make-up and blend colours, textures and tones.
Speaking about the game, Lauren said:
“I’m really excited about the launch of my new Supermodel Makeover Nintendo DS game and working with Avanquest Software. It’s a fun make-up and fashion game and with many different styles to master you’ll be playing it for hours! I think that the interactive gameplay will appeal to a younger audience and to those who are already fans of my YouTube make-up tutorials.”
Simon Reynolds, European Games Director of Avanquest Software said:
“We are delighted to have teamed up with Lauren Luke to produce a fun and interactive game that will appeal to her growing fan base. We are confident that the popularity of our casual games range and the commercial success Lauren has achieved will make it a big hit.”
So with a DS game, a weekly newspaper article, television appearances and a line of make-up under her belt, there seems to be no end to Lauren Luke’s talents, and of course this makes her simplistic style even more easy to follow.
The game is available to buy now at the RRP of £19.99.
