Ubisoft has revealed that Rayman is coming back; this time on the DSiWare platform.

Gamers can now play the first Rayman adventure on their DSi as the game is set to be released on 25th December 2009 via the DSiWare download service. Battle Dr. Dark as you try to save your world using your various skills; like punching, hanging, and flying.

New features in this DSi version include the use of the touchscreen to plan your progression, and avoiding traps using the map. You can customise your savings at each of the checkpoints by taking a photo of yourself using the integrated camera on your DSi. There are also achievements to unlock throughout the course of the game.

Originally released back in 1995, this updated version is perfect for nostalgic gamers, and those who are unfamiliar with Michel Ancel’s most famous character. Rayman is available for 800 points from 25th December 2009 onwards.
