Since we started the site a little over 3 years ago, it has fast become a tradition to hold a competition around Christmas time to hopefully make some of our readers’ dreams come true (as long as their dream is to win some great Nintendo swag!). This year is no different, and we are pleased to announce our Xmas Competition for 2009 and our biggest competition we have run to date!

Thanks to some of the great support from the various companies we have dealt with at some point during the last 12 months, we have a truly amazing selection of prizes on offer. Special thanks go to EA and Ubisoft for supplying a majority of the prizes, so we’d like to take this opportunity to let them know how much we appreciate their support and to let you know that you should definitely should buy at least one EA and one Ubisoft title for someone you love this Christmas!

So, that’s the introduction and the sucking up to the sponsors out of the way. Now it’s time to let you all know what we have up for grabs, so here goes:

The Prizes

Due to the shear amount of prizes on offer, we’ve decided to split the packages into 2 packages- The Wii Prize Pack and The DS Prize Pack.

How to Enter

To enter our great competition and stand a chance of winning one of our great prize packs, all you have to do is leave us a comment telling us which prize pack draw you’d like to enter by either typing Wii for the Wii Prize Pack draw, or DS for the DS Prize Pack draw. Seeing as we’re feeling especially generous, if you can’t decide between the two prize packs just type Both and we will enter you into both draws!

You will have to be a registered user to be able to comment and enter the draw, but signing up is free and easy. Make sure you enter a valid email address when signing up as we will need to contact you if you win.

The Rules

The competition will close on Thursday 31st December at 16:00, when we will select one winner from the Wii Prize Pack draw and one winner from the DS Prize Pack draw and announce them as the lucky winners.

This competition is subject to our standard terms and conditions and is open to residents of the United Kingdom only.

Both, please. I have never had a games console. Have a few games for the PC (can play my Sims game for hours) and play a few online but would really love to have a ‘dedicated’ games console.
