Wii is the fastest-selling home console in UK history

Figures released from GfK Chart-Track UK shows the Nintendo Wii as the fastest-selling home console in the UK; with over 6 million sold since its launch.

The independent music, video and software performance and sales company notes that it’s taken the Wii just under three years to reach this landmark; making it a record time for any console.

The little white box launched in the UK on 8th December 2006, and officially passed 6 million in sales week ending 28th November 2009.
