Alter Ego scheduled with a 2010 release

bitComposer Games have recently announced that they are to published Alter Ego for the Nintendo Wii and PC in early 2010.

The game takes place at Plymouth, England as the 19th Century is drawing to an end. A strange aristocrat that was the subject of many “horrifying myths” falls victim to a mysterious series of gruesome murders. Gamers will have to investigate the deaths and play through the game; alternating between two very different characters. One is a thief called Timothy Moor, and the other is Police Detective Bristol; both must discover the dark secret behind it all.

Alter Ego is a point and click puzzle game that has two playable protagonists, and over 30 non-playable characters over the course of the adventure. Spanning over 80 different locations, Alter Ego is an exciting detective story with over 200 pages of dialogue and over 1000 sound effects. When you’re not solving the various in-game puzzles; utilising the 150 pickable items, the game will feature cinematic cut-sequences to keep you hooked.

Developed by Future Games (the makers of Black Mirror, and Nibiru), and published by bitComposer Games, the game is currently scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2010.
