Don't hold your breath for the next instalment of Zelda coming in 2010.

Been hoping that Nintendo will ball you over next year with a brand new instalment of Zelda for you to lay your hands on? Well, we may have some worrying news for you.

Zelda games have always taken the longest to develop, out of probably every game ever made, and probably walking to the moon. However, it would of still been nice to think that  Nintendo would of been pulling out all the stops next year to keep the Wii at the top of the entertainment lists (since they already have new versions of  Metroid and Mario on the way, why not go all out?).

This hope has been hit off course recently though due to a quote from Reggie Fils-Aime making us doubt that a 2010 date will happen. While speaking on GameTrailers TV, Fils-Aime explained that Nintendo hasn’t “committed to Zelda for 2010.”

So, keep hope all you want, but something tells me you may be in for a little bit of a wait yet folk, so I’d get comfy.
