Wii Sports III already well into production?

Who's up for a bit of Wii Sports III?

With Fishing, Water slides and more being cut from the final version of Wii Sports Resort, does this mean Wii Sports III is on the cards already?

Within a few months of Wii Sports Resort going on sale, it has already sold over three million copies worldwide, however, some of the games inner specialities didn’t seem to make it into the final version.

The game is still however the perfect way for the console to make sure it shows off its super-responsive MotionPlus additions to the controller. Mixed in with the usual Wii style gameplay made it such an addictive and enjoyable experience that everyone can get involved in.

So why I hear you ask, did some games not make the final version, including a watersliding game and a fishing game.

The man for Nintendo stated: “As for more unconventional concepts, we created a pretty fun prototype of ‘kendama’ , a traditional Japanese toy, that just didn’t fit.” While the producer of Wii Sports Resort states: “We considered fishing and a water slide activity before deciding on the final twelve events.”

Eguchi then offered his opinion and said how he is a fan of ‘controller-free gaming’ and strongly believes “in the role of feedback in games… such as pushing buttons, feeling vibrations or even stepping. It’s vitally important for players to physically feel the feedback of their action.”
