Nocturnal Entertainment has released 13 new screenshots from the upcoming Flowerworks on WiiWare.
The game, which was originally released on the PC last year, has been in development for over 18 months in the buildup to its WiiWare debut. Built from the ground up, specifically with the Nintendo Wii’s hardware in mind, Flowerworks is an action/adventure game that combines flowers and fireworks together.
Gamers take control of an alien by the name of Follie, as she delivers a cargo of flowerworks to her Aunty. Not everything goes to plan as Follie crash lands on a mysterious planet called Elilia. As she explores the world of Elilia, she must unravel the mysteries that surround this planet, as well as recovering the seeds and growing the flowerworks.

A family-friendly casual game that’s suitable for children as well as adults; Flowerworks features an Adventure Mode that should provide 15-25 hours gameplay. Try for a 5 Star ranking on each of the 50 distinct levels. There’s also a quick-play Arcade Mode where you can play on one of three difficulty settings. With extra abilities to collect and master, why not play through the tutorial that’s included first?
Running at 60 frames-per-second and supporting 480p mode, Flowerworks will be available on WiiWare soon. It is already available on the PC and can be downloaded here. For more information, visit the game’s official web page by following the link below.
