THQ Inc have announced that they are currently working on the development of a new zoo simulation game, named World Of Zoo, which will be available on the Wii, DS and PC.
The concept is similar to that of Zoo Tycoon, where players build and maintain their own zoo, carefully planning the layout and taking care of the animals. However, there are many customisable aspects to the game which gives World Of Zoo a unique edge over other animal simulation games.
Randy Shoemaker, vice president, global brand management at THQ said:
“We are excited to introduce this game to animal lovers and zoo fans of all ages…This game expands the real-world zoo experience, giving players an all-access pass to interact with the world’s most amazing animals up close and personal.”
There are over 90 animals from 11 families, and players will be able to roam around the entire zoo to cater for each species specific needs.
In addition to all of this, is the ability to create any type of animal imaginable, even if it doesn’t exist. The official World Of Zoo website has been launched, and includes the option to demo the “Animal Creator”, which will allow players to create new species for zoo visitors and friends to enjoy.
