
RTL Games has announced that The Mystery of Whiterock Castle will be available to download this Summer via WiiWare.
Developed by Keen Games, a studio based in Frankfurt, Germany and published by Playtainment; The Mystery of Whiterock Castle marks the first game to be released for WiiWare by a German publisher.
The game follows the story of a young knave, who sets off on a quest to find his beloved playmate. The Princess has mysteriously disappeared and it’s up to our hero to find any clues he can; armed with his sword and magnifying glass. Scour countless rooms, and dungeons in this meticulously-detailed “hidden object” puzzle game.
The Mystery of Whiterock Castle will feature hand painted 3D graphics and will utilise the wii-mote so gamers can find objects concealed across ten different settings; either in co-op mode, competing against other players, or in single-player mode.

The objects will be scattered across the levels and generated randomly. There will be various nooks and crannies, perfect for testing gamers’ observation skils. Various multiplayer modes and a high-score list will also be included.

I generally like the “hide and seek” games, and the graphics look pretty good. I just hope that it doesn’t cost too much, because in my experience, these types of games don’t have much replay value.
