The Wii Shop Channel is doing well recently; following on from last week’s addition of four titles, this week is no different. Hanabi Festival is here again which means two Virtual Console games previously unavailable in this region, and on top of all that, we got two more WiiWare titles too.

Gradius Rebirth - WiiWare

Konami brings us a new episode of its cult 2D action shooter game set in space. Take control of the space ship Vic Viper and blast through levels filled with hundreds of enemies, obstacles and massive bosses. Power-up capsules will boost your weapons system; including speed-ups, bombs/lasers and even multiple copies of your ship and its weapons. Compare your online high-scores with your friends’ in Score Attack Mode. Gamers can even record and playback their missions and watch them as replays. Available now for 600 points.

Bit Boy!! - WiiWare

Accompany Bit Boy Kubi through a retro-style pixelated adventure and battle hordes of monsters in various worlds. This new action game from Bplus is a digital journey through time and features 4-bit dungeons, 8-bit caves, 16-bit strongholds, 32-bit labyrinths, 64-bit arenas and 128-bit worlds. Set off in pursuit of fruits, high-scores and rescue Kubi’s friends. Bit Boy!! also features a cooperative mode and is available now for 600 points.

Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen - Super Nintendo

Previously only available in Japan and North America, it is up to you to defeat the empire. You are the leader of a band of rebels fighting against the Zeteginean Empire; trying to preserve any honour left in this time of bloodshed. Manage the ranks of a complete army using a vast array of characters, magic items, weapons and mystical tarot cards. This RPG from Square Enix is available now for 900 points.

Pulseman - Sega Mega Drive

21st century scientist, Doc Yoshiyama falls in love with his C-Life artificial intelligence creation and uploads himself to his computer to be with “her”.
