Anyone who spends enough time on Texas Hold ‘em Tournament will no doubt have noticed that the game is prone to crashing before the poker has even started. Well, that should all be fixed now.

A few days ago, whilst browsing through the Wii Shop Channel, I noticed there was an updated version of Texas Hold ‘em Tournament to download, so I immediately got on the case and it was done in a few minutes. Hoping that this update will eradicate the issues that this game houses, I emailed Digital Leisure Inc. to confirm the nature of this update.

It appears that the issue with failed game connections stems from the way the match-making servers placed the newly connected persons; sometimes the connection process would stall a game progress. The European version has received an update to resolve this issue, while the North American version has been amended to fix this. However, until all European players download the updated version of the game, stalls may still occur, so get yourself to the Wii Shop Channel now!
