
A whole new franchise of games has been announced by EA at E3 and it goes by the name of Charm Girls Club.
The game will involve collecting sparkly, virtual charms after completing challenges and there will be four titles: Charm Girls Club Pajama Party (Wii), Charm Girls Club My Perfect Prom, Charm Girls Club My Fashion Mall and Charm Girls Club My Fashion Show (all DS).
Sarah Handley, Senior Director of Marketing, EA Play Label said: “Charm Girls Club celebrates everything that’s fun about being a girl…Girls are gamers too and EA wants to provide them with games that are fun, fabulous and appeal to their interests.”
The Charm Girl characters guide players through the game, and can be customised to create whatever style suits them. There are thousands of fashionable combinations to choose from that include hairstyles, facial features, clothes, make up an shoes.
The aim is to collect all of the virtual charms, and to be able to show them off to everyone else.
Dyan Williams, Senior Producer, EA Play Label said: “With Charm Girls Club, we’re providing girls with quality games that emphasize cool characters, fun challenges, customization and lots of collectible charm rewards that can be shared across products…Girls are really excited about a new line of games made just for them.”
The games are due for release in Autumn of this year in the US, but there is no confirmed date in the UK.
