Dead Space: Extraction release date announced

EA has announced the release date for its upcoming on-rails shooter, Dead Space: Extraction on the Nintendo Wii.

Set as a prequel to the Xbox360 original, European gamers will see this title in the shops from 02/10/09 onwards, whilst North America will get it slightly ahead from 29/09/09.

So it seems that 2009 should be the year for the Wii, with numerous top quality games developed by adults for adults. Good, even though it’s taken Nintendo (mostly third-party companies actually) the best part of 2 years. Better late than never I suppose.
