This offering from developers EA Tiburon is a puzzle platform game, offering the chance to test your brain skills as well as guiding Henry Hatsworth through mysterious levels.
The plot follows Henry Hatsworth in his quest to find a golden suit of armour, created by a ruler named ‘The Gentleman’, which is believed to be cursed. He is not the only person who is in search of the legendary garments, and his rival adventurers attempt to trip him along the way.
Throughout the game, you will control Henry Hatsworth as he walks through the different levels, defeating enemies on the top screen, while at the same time undertaking the puzzle on the bottom of the screen and get three “good” tiles in a row. Guide Henry to find pieces of the missing suit of armour, while using your tactics and weaponry to defeat enemies in their attempt to wreck his chances of finding it.
The story-line is entertaining, with the dialect between characters often providing some amusement, as well as a plot that is fun to keep up and continue with. As Henry collects various parts of the magical suit of armour, he gains more powers and access to various areas on the map, so the game continues to expand as you play.
Game play is great on this game; there is a real element of interest as you have to focus on two things at once. When Henry kills the enemies, they reappear as “blocks” on the screen below, which is home to the puzzle component of the game. Your interest is kept by the fact that neither part of the game is dull and straightforward. For example, you have to choose the correct way to defeat enemies with the correct weapon in the platform game.
The puzzle game is a constant task as the blocks continue to rise from the bottom of the screen, gradually making their way to the top screen where Henry is making his way across the level. To make blocks disappear you have to place three horizontal blocks of the same colour in a row. There are some blocks that also give you added bonuses, so try and get those into a line. However, there are also blocks that bring undesired effects, so avoid those! Again, this makes the puzzle a challenge, and not a straightforward task.
Controls on the game are fairly simple and allow for use of both the touch screen and the buttons. Guiding Henry and forcing him to use his weapons is simple but fun, with a traditional platform game feeling, while the puzzle can use either the buttons to twist the blocks, or the touch screen to tap the blocks to bring in the more interactive feel to the puzzle.
The graphics and soundtrack in this game are pretty much as you would expect for an adventure puzzle game. There are many colours integrated into the designs, which makes for pleasing viewing and the animations are fun. There is nothing about these elements that let the game down, in fact, they help to enhance the experience.
There is no doubt that after finishing one session of this game, you would willingly pick it up again to continue. It’s fun yet challenging, and the story is quite captivating, leaving you wanting to know how Henry will progress. There is almost a personal attachment to Henry Hatsworth as you help him along the way. He is a loveable character, who even carries a cup of tea with him at times, to make him almost more human. The puzzle element also becomes more challenging, making sure it does not become a tedious task.

- Can get a bit tough with too many enemies

It’s a good game, but it does get very frustrating in places, trust me.
