EA Games has announced that it will release the sequel to Boom Blox for the Wii. The second game in the series will go by the name of Boom Blox Bash Party, and is expected to be released in the Spring.
There is said to be more online interactivity, and extra downloadable levels with an emphasis on multiplayer modes.
An EA Press Release quoted Steven Spielberg, who has helped to create the game, as saying: “We know families and friends really enjoyed playing the original Boom Blox together, so we designed more explosive multiplayer experiences with Boom Blox Bash Party.”
The game will be similar in content to the first, with over 400 brand new levels of puzzles to complete. Also, as with the first title in the sequence, there will be the capability to create levels, only this time EA have expanded this feature to integrate with the online experience.

Lucy’s in the house! Saw an EA rep talking about this on some obscure satellite channel. The physics engine looks pretty cool.
