Grasshopper Manufacture’s iconic SUDA 51 recently sat down with Eurogamer and detailed that in Europe, two versions of No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle will be released in what we can guess is an attempt to satisfy the recent outburst of parents in mainly the UK who think that violence in videogames is brainwashing children. SUDA goes on to say:
“We won’t be able to make the same game for all territories,” SUDA 51 said in interview at the Tokyo Game Show. “For Europe, we’re going to release two versions. One extreme version, and one with less violence.”
While this is a weird move by Grasshopper, it will certainly allow hardcore gamers to experience the game as it was truly intended to be played, unlike the original No More Heroes, which get severely edited for Europe’s gaming masses. Smart move? No. Awesome news? Hell yes!
On a slightly different tangent, the small theory I posted yesterday has been squashed as No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle (or DS as I’m calling it) has been announced as a Wii title.

Snakey
This is good news, and I’ll be picking up the bloody version.
