Stars Catalogue Now Allows Music Downloads

Nintendo have revealed their new way to spend Stars, the currency earned by buying Nintendo games, on their website with a music purchasing service.

The news of such things should be nothing new to long term visitors of the Nintendo site as the news was accidentally published months ago, only to be yanked straight away. Now however, Nintendo have released the full service to the general public allowing users to trade in 350 Stars for 1 song, 750 Stars for 2 songs or 3000 Stars for a full album. This then gives you a code to be used on the EMI website to download anything you fancy getting your grubby hands on.

While many hoped that the service would introduce some kind of Nintendo soundtrack service, its unfortunate that it never happened but this is at least another alternative to spending those Stars on instead of trying to wake up early enough to get the good sized Wii Points.

To get your music simply go over to the Nintendo Stars website
