The Wii is already the world’s most advanced console when it comes to giving gamers a fully immersive playfest in the comfort of their own living room. However Chinese hardware developers AreusTech weren’t happy with Wii games using the human senses sight, sound and touch, oh no!
That’s why they invented the aptly named “Smells like Wii Spirit”, probably the world’s only device to bring SMELL to avid Wii gamers.
That’s right, now while playing a round of golf on Tiger Woods, you’ll be treated to the lovely smell of freshly cut grass. Flying through the Sweet Sweet Galaxy on Super Mario Galaxy? Then get treated by the lovely sweet aromatic smell that the device generates.
It is even said that the device will generate the smell of sweat while playing on Wii Sports, although with news like that, we’re rather worried what games such as Resident Evil, House of the Dead and Guitar Hero might generate!
