While the video above seems like any other game video on our site, clicking on this link will take you to Nintendo’s YouTube advert of Wario Land Shake It (aka Shake Dimension in Europe). After a few seconds of the video the elements of the YouTube page will start to collapse as well as coins springing out of the video’s window and into the page.

It’s a clever and different piece of advertising and something hopefully we will be seeing a lot more of in the future with the likes of Animal Crossings and Wii Music on the way but if we also look to more hardcore 3rd party games such as Mad World and House of the Dead: Overkill, such imaginative advertising could really take off and make a product stand out.
