At Nintendo’s E3 conference yesterday, Reggie Fils-Aime announced Wii Sports Resort, the sequel to Wii Sports released with the Wii at launch.

Wii Sports Resort will “literally a day at the beach” according to Fils-Aime as he showed us a few of the games included such Dog Frisby, Sword Fighting and a Wave Race style jet-ski race. The game will be one of the first games to also use the recently announced WiiMotion Plus which plugs into the WiiMote.

Wii Sports Resort is said to be released Summer 2009 but its unclear if thats worldwide or USA only. Each copy of the game will also include 1 WiiMotion Plus plug-in.
