Nintendo have shown off more of Wii Music finally! After a long wait, and a intial showing as one of the first games before the Wii was released, Wii music has been improved and refined with plenty of new content.
Nintendo demonstrated its new piece of software on stage by showing off drums, saxophone, guitar, some large japanese drums and finally a 4 player suite of Super Mario Brothers world 1 music using several instruments with Wiimote and Nunchuck.
While the game is all about music, Nintendo’s biggest creative designer, Miyamoto claims that anyone with a love of music can play and that you don’t need to know any of the 50+ instruments to play them well. Unlike the acclaimed Guitar Hero, Wii Music focuses on just button taps at any time or order which the game then interprets and makes into a tune on your behalf.
While Nintendo seem to be pushing the game, Many focused on Nintendo’s conference seemed unsure wether this was the right thing to do, with Screwattack.com calling it flat out ‘the worst moment in Nintendo history’. We at WiiDS.co.uk will stay unusually quiet on the subject until more details arise about the game and its features.
