Probably the biggest Nintendo surprise of E3 was that Grand Theft Auto is coming to the DS. While it was just mentioned during the press conference, very little else was said about the game. Luckily Rockstar have given a few details out on their official site.

Announced by Nintendo during their E3 Conference, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is being developed in house by Rockstar Leeds, who’s previous work includes the Grand Theft Auto games on the PSP (both of them) and the Max Payne Gameboy Advance game which was released a few years ago.

At the moment price and date arent known, but it would be fair to say this will be the big DS hit of next year. Check back soon for more details.
