IGN has released the following trailer for the new “classic-style” Mega Man game for WiiWare, Mega Man 9.
The game is said to go back to it’s NES roots and feature retro 2D graphics, and great new bosses such as Magma Man, Galaxy Man, Jewel Man, Concrete man, Hornet Man, Plug Man, Tornado Man and Splash Woman, and from this video, we can see that this is very true (and very cool!).
Mega Man 9 for WiiWare is set to be released in September in Japan, although no US or EU release date has been unveiled yet.

Does anyone besides me think the graphics is a bit archaic? I understand its a different visual approach from today’s standards, but it just feels like a cop out to do better in that department. Regardless, its cool to see Megaman make a return.

ahh brings back so many memories just seeing the old megaman graphics. this is definately on my download list !
