It has been reported in the latest edition of Nintendo’s Official magazine that, the much love Animal Crossing that appeared on the DS is likely to make the transition to it’s bigger brother platform.

The magazine, reaching subscribers and shelves recently, has a host of interesting items that are said to appear in their E3 special next month. We are told there are two undisclosed games under production and Animal Crossing presumably is one.

Next to the standard reviews, promotions and the rest of the accustomed hype around such an event is a piece of Animal Crossing artwork beside the caption: “It’s been a while! It’s time to revisit an old friend. How’s your village doing these days?”

Along with several other suggestive items that suggest so, is this Nintendo’s way of introducing the Animal farms “village antics” onto the Wii?
