Nintendo has re-issued assurances that there will be more Wii Fit stock available throughout the UK very soon. The big N recently told GamesIndustry.biz that “stock is coming in all the time on a weekly basis”, however this is not the case for most, if not all of the UK.
I personally have been searching for a copy of Wii Fit for over 2 weeks now (as I was silly enough to ignore pre-ordering it!), and many stores are telling me similar things: “We won’t have any more stock until at least June/July”.
Why Nintendo like subjecting the world to shortages of their products will never make sense to me, but hopefully with this second reassurance we can hope that the shortage might come to an end soon.

this is friggin stupid, smart nintendo maybe but they dont out it to good use! i’ve been lookign for a copy of wii fit since it came out & really dont see the point of its release because hardly anyone in the UK got it & all the shops are putting up huge displays with sold out writen all over it its just dumb stupid nintendo!

In the meantime the few retailers that get them rack up their prices! Remember the names that are profiteering from this and dont buy from them in future - I include the once excellent Play.com in this list - I for one will never buy from them again.
Maybe this is nintendo’s ploy to halt any cut pricing of their product - this is engineered extortion on a grand scale

Hey, its not like we have a plethora of Wii Fit units here in the States either. XD
