Today Nintendo has released details of Europe’s WiiWare launch date, and named the games we can expect to be available on, or soon after the launch of the service.

The big day will happen on 20th May across Europe, with a strong line up of 8 games, compared to the 6 which were available at launch in the US yesterday, and the 9 Japan had available way back in March.

Although details of the prices of games (in Wii Points) was not released, we can hope and guess that they will be the same as those already available across the world, which range from 500 to 1500 Wii Points.

Here’s what we can expect:

• Dr. Mario & Germ Buster (Nintendo)
• Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (Square Enix)
• LostWinds (Frontier)
• Pirates: The Key of Dreams (Oxygen)
• Pop (Nnooo)
• Star Soldier R (Hudson)
• Toki Tori (Two Tribes)
• TV Show King (Gameloft)
