Sonic Unleashed is the latest in SEGA’s blue hedgehog series and we all have hopes that the title will revive the tired franchise.
Sonic Unleashed is being developed for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and of course the Nintendo Wii. A recent interview with Yoshihisa Hashimoto from “Play Magazine” revealed new interesting information that will make the Wii version farely different from the Xbox and Playstation counterparts.
Some of these features include:
- The split between 2D and 3D will be about half and half.
- Hub areas for story will be making a return.
- The Wii version will not be using the same engine as the PS3 and Xbox games but the team are working hard to make it look as closely as possible.
- There will be a mix of speed and platforming.
- The coding and stages for the Wii version are being handled by “Dimps” who was responsible for the Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure games.
