Win a copy of King of Clubs

We’re teaming up with Oxygen Games to give 5 lucky readers a chance to win a copy of their latest Wii game, King of Clubs.

King of Clubs is an innovative action-puzzle game, combining the challenge of the traditional ball-rolling puzzler with the classic tacky seaside pastime of mini-golf. As an evolution of the puzzle genre, each level has multiple solutions, and as further equipment is unlocked, new paths through each hole become viable.

We’ve got 5 copies of the game to give away, together with some random bits and bobs from our friends at RedBeard to jazz up the lucky winner’s controller.

All you have to do to enter the draw is leave us a little comment poem about either Nintendo, the Wii or Golf and cross your fingers!

Our standard rules apply, and the competition will close on Friday 25th April at 16:00, when we’ll hold a raffle, and the first 5 names out of the hat will find themselves the new owners of this great game. Don’t forget to leave a correct email address when submitting your comment as if you win we will need to get hold of you!

Good Luck Everybody !!

Nintendo is awesome, that’s for sure,
It is so awesome, it makes my cat purr,
If I could only meet Reggie face to face,
I would shake his hand and NOT spray his face with mace.
    (Reggie ROCKS!!!!!)

We had a Wii, but sold it see,
    Cos nobody wanted to play,
We should have kept our wii, dont you agree, to while the hours away.

If I win this game, I will buy a wii, for that I guarantee,
We’re fed up of soap and Reality TV,
A Wii would give us more scope!

The gaming world changed with the launch of the Wii.
Nitendo has a winner, that we can see.

The newest game, called King of Clubs,
Will keep everyone from hitting the pubs.

They’ll be at home instead, mini-golfing away,
and solving puzzles galore until the next day.

He was the ‘King of Clubs’,
    women ‘putt’-y in his hand,
    A player of ‘Parr’ excellence
tough as ‘iron’, yet soft as ’sand’
A stray ‘Golf ball’ then hit him
    while placing down his ‘Tee’
Now they’re ‘driving’ him to hospital,
    Golfs safer on the Wii

When I look at the Wii
    It reminds me of me.
    Robust and joy giving,
    The pinnacle of fun-living
    A giver of daily glee.

    With thanks to WiiDS
I might get to play golf with my kids
    And laugh, scream and run
when I get the first hole in one.

Stupid name, but Oh, to be
able to beat the kids just once
So in the games room I’m ensconced
Whilst they’re at school I’m learning fast
mum’s can learn to speed right past
All cars and obstacles in the way
(close your eye’s, hope and pray)
    ‘Mario Cart’ here I come

    Nintendo, how I love thee,
    Let me count the ways,
    From Mario to Sonic,
You have truly brightened my days,
    I’ve rescued the lovely Zelda,
    Kicked Bowser into touch,
    Walked hand-in-hand with Navi,
And rescued Samus far too much,
I have “game over” on my motorbike,
And Yoshi tattooed on my thigh,
If I could not play Nintendo,
I fear I would truly die,
    I hereby challenge anyone,
To be a bigger fan than me,
I still have my original Snes,
a DS, and of course a Wii.
I do not yet have King of Clubs,
    In my extensive gaming stash,
So here’s my little Nintendo poem,
To win one and save some cash,
Because if I had that money spare,
I know just what I’d get,
I’ve seen a lovely DK cap,
    That I don’t have yet!

    Boyfriend’s been a sweetheart
    Doing gardening for me
But mowing grass and planting seeds
    Leaves little time to ‘Wii’.

    Now the garden’s looking lovely,
    With ivy that cascades,
I’d love to give the ‘King of Clubs’
To my gorgeous ace of spades.
