Hudson announced during a Tokyo Conference their future plans for the WiiWare, announcing 10 new games for the download service.
Previously before, the developer had announced, in addition to their Japanese launch game Star Soldier, Tetris and an online-enabled Bomberman for the service. Along with these titles, Hudson is creating a remake of Alien Crush (original is available on the Virtual Console), which is a digital pinball game now being revamped with Wii controls and online support of five players and online leaderboards. Plan to see a release of the remake in August.
Another interesting title is called Blue Oasis, which is an original game in which you build aquariums and raise fish. The screenshots suggest that you’ll be able to feed the fish and change the scenery. Expect to see a 2008 Japanese release.
And then, some are well aware that Hudson has recently partnered up Xing to bring Karaoke Joysound Wii to the WiiWare. With a monthly subscription (fees), players will have access to thousands of songs, with new ones added every month.
We hope to see release dates for territories outside Japan!
