EA Sports’ new president, Peter Moore, has recently leaked some information in his EA Blog, revealing that eight games are in development for the Nintendo Wii.

“I can tell you we now have EIGHT titles in development for the Wii,” said Moore in his blog post. “[It's a] testament both to the global impact of that console currently in the global marketplace, as well as to our desire to attract more consumers to experience EA SPORTS games, no matter their experience playing games nor their prowess with a traditional controller.”

Its unknown whether not not those games fall under the lone EA Sports label, or from the other divisions within Electronic Arts. So pass the ball to WiiDS for more news and updates.
