My oh my has Mario Kart Wii ramped up massive sales…before the game has even reached its release date! Reports have shown that on Amazon.com, advanced orders of the game have reached massive levels, becoming the #3 top selling product on the website.
So how many copies of the game’s have already been bought? Punch Jump has reported that since its announcement last week, Mario Kart Wii has sold 337,140 units. The orders started on early Saturday and has accumulated that much in the very same day.
Mario Kart Wii is the newest iteration of the franchise, which will include 16 new courses and 16 old courses founded in previous Mario Kart games. This time around, players will have the opportunity to drive either the traditional kart or motorcycles and be able to replace the driver as a Mii character.
Europe will receive Mario Kart Wii on April 11th while North America will get the game on April 27th.
