Japanese publisher Hudson and Tetris Online have recently announced that they are bringing Tetris to Nintendo’s WiiWare Download Service. The game’s concept hasn’t changed from being a falling blocks puzzler, though some features have been added such as six-player online support, and obstacle mode and Wii remote-based pointer and motion controls.

Hudson plans to have Tetris released in summer 2008 on the WiiWare and the game will release simultaneously through Tetris Online. No price has been mentioned.
