Well.. well.. well.. It’s that time again -VC Releases!
In Europe this week we didn’t get Kirby 64 (dammit!) which is what I was hoping for, instead we get Super Turrican and Psychosis (woo!)

Super Turrican SNES 800 Points
Super Turrican plays similarly to the previous games in the series and visually looks similar also. While never stepping into the major limelight, the Turrican series has a pretty hardcore following. A cult classic and a damn good 2D side scrolling shooter. For fans of Bionic Commando and Metroid and anyone who enjoys some ‘old skool’ shooting!

Psychosis TurboGrafx 600 Points
Psychosis is another 2D shumup’ (or shoot-em-up to me and you) similar to Solider Blade, Lords of Thunder, R-Type and Gate of Thunder. While the story sounds like something a Lost writer would come up with while drunk, the gameplay is damn good. Worth a look for any ’shumup’ fan.

Personally I’m hoping we get Kirby 64 soon but these two additions are good enough to keep me busy for a while!
