At the Game Developers Conference 2008, Square Enix’s research and development manager Taku Murata has announced that the company’s game engine, White Engine will flesh out a brand new name and be brought to the Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.
Renamed Crystal Tools, this was originally used in the development of Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII: Versus on the Playstation 3. Murata mentioned some of the features of the Crystal Tools engine will be used on Wii, though its a secret.

It makes me laugh when I hear speculation that FFXIII is actually coming to Wii. It does sound awesome, but what are the chances of that!?
