THQ has recently announced Deadly Creatures for the Nintendo Wii; this game should give Spiderman a run for his money.

Deadly Creatures puts players in the position of a scorpion and tarantula who must take up foes such as wasps, Gilla monsters, black widow spiders and even human beings in desert and human-made environments. Not much else has been revealed, other than the fact that the game will include a motion control-based combat system for brutal action and the story will be dark and compelling. As THQ’s director of global brand management Randy Shoemaker suggests, Deadly Creatures will be raising the bar for other third-party games.
