During THQ’s Q3 2008 earnings conference call today, the company’s president, Brian Farrell, has revealed that developer 5th Cell’s DS game, Drawn to Life, is heading to the Nintendo Wii.
Drawn to Life is an artistic-driven game in which players draw out their own unique characters, weapons, enemies, platforms, etc using the Nintendo DS touchscreen and stylus. While not releasing exact figures, Farrell said during the conference that the game has sold 700,000 copies worldwide and that its DS sales have risen 94% because of Drawn to Life.
No information was given about the Wii version of the game, though Farrell had mentioned that the game was intended to extend to the Nintendo console. THQ will be announcing several new Wii-exclusive titles in the near future.
