FaceBreaker Punches the Wii

As if Electronic Arts couldn’t knock itself with games that share the genres of their previous works (cough Fight Night), their Chicago studio (located in the United States) is in development of a new boxing game for the Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 called FaceBreaker.

What makes FaceBreaker interesting is its art style and gameplay that differs from Electronic Art’s other boxing franchise, Fight Night. This game retains a cartoonish vibe littered with fictional characters such as Romeo, the Latin lover. As the context of the title suggests, players will literally be able to break other people’s faces, deforming them into obscure shapes and positions. And like the Tiger Woods games, personal pictures can be taken and be used when creating a customized character.
