We’ve always hear talk in the video game industry on how Nintendo seems to be the dominant developer and publisher of games for its Wii console, besting out the offerings of many third parties. Apparently Tetsuya Mizuguchi of Sega has taken this into account when he said this in a interview with Wired Blog Network:
In general, maybe not this game, but what do you think about making games for the Wii?
Wii is a very unique platform. I have no projects yet, but I feel it’s very unique. I’m a little bit anxious about Nintendo platforms, as Nintendo games are too strong. I’m a little bit worried about that.
Its a shame to see good talent go to waste because how judgmental people can become. But then again…we are talking about Nintendo vs. third party quality. That can send chills down everyones’ spines.
