IGN has an interesting article up on the Wii Balance Board and some of its possible alternate uses. A few of the uses listed are drums, in which the Wii Balance Board would serve as either a high hat and a bass peddle or a double bass peddle, skateboarding, where you would use the board to control the board, or even skiing, where you would use it to control the skis. One could go as far to uses it in a fighting game for dodging punches.
