Konami Digital Entertainment Inc. has announced that it’s bringing arcade pioneer Eugene Jarvis’ Target: Terror to the Nintendo Wii in Q1 2008.

Target: Terror is the first rail shooting game from Konami which enlists players as ab elite counter-terrorist agent to battle off against….well…terrorists. Nostalgically reviving the old school style of wave upon wave of enemies, players will have the opportunity to mow them down with an arsenal of firearms ranging from machine guns, flamethrowers or perhaps an orbital laser beam from space. Target: Terror will also include “Justice Mode” in which the player can dual wield, along with unlockable humorous mini games. The game will be Konami’s first opportunity to utilize the Wii Zapper on the console.

Expect to fire some rounds into baddies in Q1 2008.
