Information of developer 49Games’ and publisher RTL Sports’ Winter Sports 2008: The Ultimate Challenge has been revealed, detailing the many features you’ll find in this upcoming blizzard of a game.

Winter Sports 2008: The Ultimate Challenge is the second iteration to the series from last year’s WS2007, though it still retains much of the same fluid and style. The arcade-oriented winter sports compilation allows the player to choose from 15 disciplines to take part in nine different sporting events. These events will take place in 21 locations fitted with mascots, opening and presentation ceremonies. A brand new campaign mode has been revealed, enlisting 42 missions which includes final boss rivals to turn up the heat. Of course players don’t have to the luxery of diving in the cold alone as two people can play via splitscreen or more can join in four-player hot seat.

Winter Sports 2008: The Ultimate Challenge is already available in PAL territories (according to the 11/29/07 release date on the fact sheet) so pick up those skis and Wii remote now!
