The first game I remember playing is Super Mario 64. I remember pushing the game in and hearing that Italian voice, and I was hooked. It was a great game for me, because at the time I was young and just liked to explore.

I’m afraid my first home gaming was some terrible black & white Pong-clone, and my first arcade game was something like “Gun Fight” in about 1974.
If we can exclude these very early games, I’d have to go for Space Invaders both in the arcades (I went to school in Blackpool so there were plenty of those), and then on the Atari (Space Invaders was the Killer app for that system). Compared with all entertainment I’d experienced before, Space Invaders was he best.
