CodeMasters is creating a new game for the Nintendo Wii called Emergency Mayhem which screams for crude humor and laughs. Here, players take the role of three emergency vehicles and is tasked to keeping the citizens of Crisis City (how coincidental) from danger.

By no means does the game try to depict the services of our heroes today in a realistic fashion as Emergency Mayhem encourages quirky and humorous slants on the three services you’ll provide: policeman, firefighter and ambulance. As for the actions you’ll perform, the game employs mini-games to complete tasks such as hurtling bananas at irreverent monkeys or using a trampoline to bounce prisoners into custody. I guess it wouldn’t be incorrect to depict Emergency Mayhem as a mini-game compilation.

Expect to create an emergency on the mind-boggling streets of Crisis City when the game releases in Spring 2008.
