Today, the ESA (Entertainment Software Association) announced that E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) Media and Business Summit for 2008 will return back to its original venue, Los Angeles Convention Center next year. Our most recent E3 trade show was opened to lots of criticism because its new location deemed it difficult for people trying to get from meeting to meeting.

To those hoping for the same trade show held back in 2006 and even before that, don’t expect that to respawn for 2008. E3 2008 will not feature large crowds, booth babes or lots of game demos, but rather, the opportunity for game demonstrations and meetings with media, development and other key features of the current video game industry.

2008’s E3 Media and Business Expo will be held during July 15-17 2008 and will be opened to both ESA and nonmembers, though the attendence to the key meetings and such are provided by invitation only.
