Video game publisher Aksys Games has announced that its bringing Castle of Shinkigami 3 to the Nintendo Wii in Spring 2008.

“Caste of Shikigami is known in Japan for its lively characters and challenging difficulty. There’s just something to be said when a game paints the screen with enemy gunfire and rewards you for living life on the edge,” said Michael Manzanares, Project Lead, Aksys Games. “I’ve always been a fan of the Shikigami series, and I’m glad we had the opportunity to bring this latest installment to the States.”

Castle of Shinkigami 3 is a verticle shoot-em up made with a modern and classic edge. The game includes 55 different storylines (fully-voiced dialogue included) which can be experienced with 10 playable characters, each with their own specialized weapons and powers. Exclusive to the consoles is Dramatic Change mode which lets the player change between two characters in the middle of a fight for better chances at survival. Shinkigami 3 can also be enjoyed by a second player in 2-player cooperative.

Expect to shoot some baddies with Castle of Shinkigami 3 in Spring 2008.
