Square Enix Inc., a publisher of Square Enix Interactive products in North America has just put out a new press release about Dragon Quest: Swords showing tidbits of information and the North American release date which is February 26, 2008.

Dragon Quest: Swords is a spin-off exclusively for the Nintendo Wii where set paths and hacking-and-slashing do the talking. Players will indulge the epic adventure that has been created by famous names in the Japanese video game industry: creator Yuji Horii, legendary manga artist Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball Z) and renowned composer Koichi Sugiyama. Pick up your Wii remote and help fight off the calamity that has affected the kingdom around you!

Again, North America can expect Dragon Quest: Swords on February 26, 2008.
